Mosaic Housing
![]() |
Providing people with and developmental disabilities with quality, affordable and accessible housing is a priority for Mosaic. By partnering with federal, state and local funding sources, Mosaic is able to provide quality homes at a reduced cost to the organization and residents. Mosaic is then able to direct more resources to other necessary services for people with and developmental disabilities.
Mosaic builds low income units in residential neighborhoods. We have built group homes, duplexes and multi-plex buildings that are close to grocery stores, bus stops and other community services.
People who apply to live in Mosaic housing do not have to receive other services from Mosaic and may receive services from other providers. All residents must qualify according to established income guidelines. Income must be below the low or very low-income guidelines for the county of residence.
Contact Mosaic for more information or to receive an application.
Housing Partners and Rent
Mosaic partners with several programs to provide affordable housing. The amount of rent and utilities a qualifying resident will pay depends upon the type of housing and the funding source used to build the home. Partner programs include:
- HUD Section 811
- Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund
- Affordable Housing Program
- HOME
- Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
