Mosaic in Axtell

Thirteen students from Creighton University in Omaha spent their fall break on Mosaic in Axtell's campus during their fall Service and Justice Trip. The main focus of the trip was learning what Mosaic offers to those we serve, and how they can make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities in their own community.

The students helped in a variety of ways on campus, helping to transport people to their day sites, helping sort items at the Corner Nugget store in Holdrege, visiting with people at home in the evenings, helping with maintenance projects around campus, and also helped residents decorate pine cones that were given away at the agency’s Partners in Possibilities fundraising event last week! The students from Creighton were a true joy and blessing to Mosaic and the people we serve, and we can only say a huge thanks for all the time they spent with us. We hope that they enjoyed their visit with us as much as we enjoyed having them here.
