Mosaic in Macomb

Recently the State of Illinois announced that it will be providing enhanced funding for all residential group homes that have four bedrooms or less. As a result, Mosaic in Macomb is currently in the process of downsizing some of our eight bed group homes to four bed homes. We began by opening two new homes on Carroll and Calhoun St. in Macomb. We have plans to continue with a new home every six months. We believe that this is a positive change that will allow for more individualized programming, and flexibility in the homes.

In addition to our homes in Macomb and Bushnell, we will be expanding to provide residential services in Canton, IL! Currently, Canton and the Fulton County area are limited in the number of residential service providers. We are excited to meet that need and to bring our mission of providing a life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities to Fulton County! We anticipate that our first group home will be opened in September 2014. Stay tuned for updates!
